  • The “Bokutei Sakura-matsuri Festival” at the Sumidagawa River. A must see is the tunnel of blossoms along the 1km long section between Azuma-bashi and Sakura-bashi bridges.
  • The “Ueno Sakura Matsuri” at Ueno Park. It offers some of the most beautiful scenes of cherry blossoms. The 1000 lanterns and the 600 Yoshino cherry trees, along with the special events that are held at the park, will excite spring lovers! (Taito-ku, Ueno Park)

The month-long festival is a great chance to admire the historic Nezu Shrine and the 300 year old garden that features more than 3,000 azalea plants! (Early April 2017 - Early May)

Flower fans will have the chance to experience Japan’s biggest blossom festival “Flower Dream in Tokyo” at the convention center “Tokyo Big Sight” and enjoy sales of rare plants and flower exhibitions.
